Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2 sets new standards for Aptamil follow-on milk with its patented formula: Our special combination of nutrients with our innovative and unique Lactofidus® process and our highest content of human milk oligosaccharides. This special composition makes it our most innovative formula. It is suitable as an accompaniment to supplementary food in combination with breast milk or for the period after breastfeeding. 

In addition, the immune nutrients² vitamin C&D³ support your baby’s immune system, which is still developing significantly up to the age of 3. In addition to DHA³ and ALA³ (omega-3 fatty acids), Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2 contains the omega-6 fatty acid ARA.

Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs)

Our unique Lactofidus® process in Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2 produces, among other things, L-lactate and 3′-GL, a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO). Additionally, our patented formula is enriched with another HMO, 2′-FL.¹

Human milk oligosaccharides occur naturally in breast milk and are its third most abundant component (after fats and lactose). 2′-FL is also the HMO that makes up the largest proportion of HMOs in breast milk.⁴ 

Our unique Lactofidus® process

Our gentle Lactofidus® process produces, among other things, L-lactate and 3′-GL, a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO). Our unique process uses natural lactic acid bacteria, which positively “pre-digest” part of the milk during the manufacturing process.

dosage

The number of meals and the amount you drink per bottle vary from person to person. Therefore, the specified drinking quantities and the number of bottles per day are only recommended guide values. A full measuring spoon holds 4.8 g.

preparation

When preparing Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCED 2, pay close attention to the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of undesirable germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring. Do not heat milk food in the microwave (risk of overheating).

Allow freshly boiled drinking water to cool down to approx. 40 °C and pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle.

For an exact dosing of the powder, wipe off the enclosed measuring spoon on the scraper. Only use the measuring spoon provided.

Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle. Store the measuring spoon in the spoon holder.

Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for approx. 10 seconds, add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake vigorously again.

Open bottle and attach teat. Check the contents of the bottle for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).
