Preparation:
When preparing Aptamil® Pronutra 2, pay close attention to the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of undesirable germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring. Do not heat milk food in the microwave (risk of overheating!).

• 1. Allow fresh, boiled drinking water to cool down to approx. 40°C and pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle.
• 2. For an exact dosing of the powder, wipe off the enclosed measuring spoon on the scraper. Only use the measuring spoon provided.
• 3. Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle. Store the measuring spoon in the spoon holder.
• 4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for approx. 10 seconds, add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake vigorously again
• Open bottle and attach teat. Check the contents of the bottle for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).

Aptamil® Pronutra 2 is suitable for babies after the 6th month and can be given after breastfeeding or following an initial formula. Important

information:
Regarding nutrition: Exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months is ideal for your baby. Like any follow-on milk, Aptamil® Pronutra 2 follow-on milk should not be used as a breast milk substitute in the first 6 months, but only after the 6th month as part of a mixed diet. However, your baby’s individual growth and development needs may make it necessary to introduce follow-on formula as part of a mixed diet into your baby’s diet at an earlier stage. Please consult your paediatrician.Dental health: All baby food contains carbohydrates. Frequent and prolonged contact with foods containing carbohydrates can cause tooth decay. Don’t leave the bottle to your child to suck on.

Storage:
Packed in a protective atmosphere. Always reseal an opened pack well by pressing the hand symbol on the lid until it clicks into place. Once opened, use up within four weeks. Store dry and out of heat. Originally sealed best before: see reverse.
