Preparation:
When preparing Aptamil® Anti-Reflux Thickener, carefully follow the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of undesirable germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring. Do not heat milk food in the microwave (risk of overheating).Bottle feeding with breast milk:Express breast milk and use it immediately while it is still lukewarm. Add the thickener according to the dosage table. Shake the bottle for 30-60 seconds and then leave for 7 minutes to thicken. After shaking again, please feed immediately.Bottle feeding with baby milk, HA formula or special formulaPrepare your usual baby milk according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Add the thickener according to the dosage table. Shake the bottle for 30-60 seconds and then leave for 7 minutes to thicken. Shake the bottle vigorously again. Then check the contents of the bottle for drinking temperature (approx. 37 C°) and please feed immediately.Spoon feedingThis method can be used with breastfed babies or babies who are already receiving solids. Add the thickening agent to the liquid according to the dosage chart.
